At The UCLA Family Commons we are always looking for fun ways to deliver health messages and connect to our local families. With spring here, flowers in blossom and the warm weather brightening spirits throughout the community, there is no other way to describe the mood as refreshing!
While spring break gave your children a chance to get refreshed and invigorated to finish their school year strong, families as a whole need to refresh the wellbeing within their home. How are you going to celebrate the warm weather and keep things fun and exciting with the family?
Maybe you have some annual traditions that you celebrate annually – anything from spring-cleaning, to a BBQ, to watching baseball games or enjoying a picnic in the park?
These type rituals can really help to bring the family together, celebrate the season and get refreshed after what was a long and chilly winter.
Here at The Commons, we have some treats and reminders on how important it is to be refreshed – stop in this week and ask for some of our complimentary “refresh-mints” available at our center’s front desk! Share them with family and friends and remember there is never a bad time to refresh your wellbeing!
