A sense of assertiveness. A sense of understanding. A sense of confidence. We call that Commonssense.
Social Skills programming at The UCLA Family Commons in Santa Monica provides children with valuable tools and building blocks for healthy growth and development into adolescence. This 6-week workshop applies the latest evidence-based research into real life activities to truly engage children. With curriculum specifically tailored to children aged 5 – 7 and 8 – 10, the program helps to develop better emotional recognition, stronger communication and problem solving skills, increased assertiveness, and a better ability to navigate through relationships.
While societal pressures and the growing impact of the digital era have served to cause some peer and family disconnects within children, our expert-developed Social Skills program is designed to positively impact the well-being of your child in school, at home and throughout life.
